Marina started her career as a Neurosurgical and Spine PA at Staten Island University Hospital for 3 years. Thereafter, she was with Mount Sinai West in NY, NY for 17 years as a Surgical First Assistant in the operating room in brain and spine surgeries, as well as Inpatient Care for neurosurgical intensive care patients and post operative patient management. Because of her interest in spine and chronic pain, especially associated post operative pain, Marina joined The Spine and Pain Institute of New York in order to use her extensive knowledge and experience to be of assistance in helping improve patients’ quality of life. She feels each patient is uniquely different and deserves their own comprehensive plan and approach to the treatment of their pain.
In her spare time, Marina enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She loves being a “soccer mom” attending school and sports events, as well as traveling, painting, and cooking. She also speaks Italian.
